Please let me know if it works, they're using CRC checksum to prevent modifications and I'm not sure if it's locked to player profile. I couldn't really test it on another profile myself.

Thanks! Anybody know how to go about editing their character with this? Other than mLevel, mJob, and mJoblevel don't really understand the raw data as it is.

EDIT:

OK changed the mLevel and the mJob (Vocation). Both worked and game loaded just fine. Not sure how to change mJoblevel. Other than those two things not really comfortable trying to change most of the other rawdata as I don't understand it.

I've been tinkering with character stats and it works so far.

This is really something that needs indepth exploring, the possibilities are endless, it's almost like the entire game is loaded into that savegame.

The savegame folder is in the main game folder. Look in the main game folder and you should be able to figure it out. The savegame filename is DDDA.sav So you can just search the game folder for it.

How does mJoblevel (I assume vocation rank) work?

I don't want to lose all my progress when I play the steam version.

Even typing DDDA.sav into the file search yields no results.
