Ditto can confirm 404 error when trying to download editior

Could have been taken off due to all the corrupted data. However, seeing as there is over 2200 downloads it should have been working at least half the time...

I mean, not that many replies here.

If you are going to use the editor to edit your stats I recommend looking up a stat calculator and build a believable character. Keep in mind that the "CORE" vocations Strider, Fighter, and Mage can be changed at level 10. Additionally, each class has their own growth rate in terms of health strength and defenses. Mages tend to be the worst in leveling health and defense.

I havent used it and probably wont. I was only confirming the error. I have beenn using the trainer only for this game.

I was wondering, for all those that have downloaded the SGE, if anyone else is running into this problem.

The tutorial quick guide has been immensively helpful, since I hardly do coding or the sort.

My problem is with the item # changing. One example is, I will open my saved file, and go to Storage Item code

    - where the "#" would be... 184 (Seeker's Token)

The program would search and locate the code, and right above it would be..

    - where "#" would be 3, to which I have in my storage...

I would change the 3 into a 50, save the file over, boot the game up, and in my storage it would still remain 3...

This is not always the case with many other items, but for some reason, Seeker's Tokens - Ancient Ore...and a few others will not have their quantity changed. I even tried using the trainer's 'item duplication' and still it would not change...is anyone else having this issue? Or is there a code change I am missing?

I've also encountered the occasional glitch where the changes I've successfully made to the save file (e.g. character appearance or gender or item amount) don't seem to be reflected in the game. Sometimes, deleting "remote.vcf" will fix it, other times not.

Also, at the beginning of the game I bumped up my health, stamina, strength and defenses which worked because they were reflected in the values shown in game under 'status'. When I leveled up from lvl 1 to lvl 2, the values dropped back down to just the normal values with the typical increase for the new level. It's like the values were reset to "normal" then incremented.

My feeling is that these oddities are not the fault of the savegame editor, but something in the game itself (maybe the checksum values that an earlier poster mentioned).

I think most if not al the problems with the editor where a case of PEBCAK.

I've duplicated seeker tokens, wakestones and many many other items without a problem, including quest and crafting items.

I think people weren't reading properly or just found the process too challenging.

I wonder why the savegame editor was taken down because it works perfectly fine for just about anything you could hope to achieve with it. You just needed to learn what... how to do so and where to do so.

I hope you bring the savegame editor back because it does truly work. I've managed to change vocation levels, character levels, EXP, discipline points and item quantity of both inventory and storage. I have also added new items to inventory and storage as well dragonforging some. I've even changed my pawn stats and uploaded it without the corruption error prompted by the server.

So I will say it again... the savegame editor works but it is not for the faint of heart.

The savegame editor was never taken down. It's available for download just like always.
