When I used this editor to item swap something, it corrupted the save. I'm pretty sure now it is caused by the fact that I put too high a value on an item. So I changed it back. But now the game isn't even starting after multiple wipes of the savegame and the game and reinstalling. I'm not sure what to do.

EDT: problem solved. Typed jargon into save file and it asked to rewrite save data. That worked. But back to nothing. At least the trainer works without a hitch!

Gunna attempt to give myself the Eternal Ferrystone via the save editor now. Will post when finished so that we have an easy explanation on how to do it!

Edit: Success! It was pretty easy for me to get the Eternal Ferrystone (One of the few things I disliked, not being able to move around quickly).

I used the search function in the editor to find "array name="mItem" ", replaced the ID of whatever the item was that was there (I have no clue what it was, really) with the ID for the Ferrystone, and made sure that the data.mDay1/data.mDay2/data.mDay3 values matched that of data.mNum.

It's simple, but it can seem confusing. I do not know about editing in your own item into a blank space yet, though. If anybody knows how to do that quickly, feel free to throw a post or a link!

Thanks again for this awesome trainer and editor!

Second edit! I think I have figured out what the value is! This might also come in handy in some trainer updates, I'm not sure.

I believe that piece of information is what page of your inventory the item is is. I would like to get some additional confirmation on this, of course, so if anybody is willing to test it themselves, that would be awesome.

When I say page, I'm referring to Curatives, Tools, Materials, Special, Other, etc. Those pages.

I attempted to give myself some Bitterblack Weapon Lv. 3s, and failed on my original attempt. I then used the wiki to confirm what section/page they came under in the inventory, and found them to fall under Other. I put a Seeker's Token in my storage, went into the editor, and changed the ID on it, and nothing else, and it worked to turn it into the weapons.

Since Array's start at 0, it makes sense for that little piece of memory to dictate what part of the inventory it goes in, and could also be the cause of some crashes and/or instability in save files, if, say, you attempt to equip Greenwarish as a weapon.

Thanks to anybody that confirms this!

Be careful people, editing your pawn can make the data corrupted meaning people cannot summon you. I edited the Discipline points and now a friend is saying he cant summon because its corrupted, Stick to editing your own MC instead. Try also not using the trainer like "rank up" when your pawns status screen is up.

I modded my pawns knowledge about quests and beasts to 100% and my friend can still use him.

Haven't seen anything to prove that modding pawns make them corrupt yet. All the trainer modding to the pawn sticks online with my friends. Then again, I don't share my pawn to anyone except two people.

I can't find my save game in any of the listed locations on this website. I have been all over the CODEX folder, and steam folders. Does anyone else have an invisible Savegame?

Nevermind I found it, I have 2 separate steam folders.

If the system is the same as it was on console, then editing your pawn can get them blacklisted by Capcom and make them unable to be summoned by other people. The main way they checked was seeing if the stats of your pawn are possible given its level, so setting it them to 5000 each or something gets blacklisted. However, editing summoned pawed stats wouldn't because those are never uploaded, so we could hack away with those. Don't know if this was still true for PC though.

Also, I don't know if I can plug another site but I'll try, the Game Genie for PS3 site has a TON of info for save editing this game on it's forum. Don't remember if you have to have bought the thing to use it though...
