The board is on the bottom right hand side of every game page.
Oh I see. That is really out of the way. well it is there.
Before it was at the very bottom of a very long page. That's what you prefer?
I think he's refering to before there was tabs to navigate to different things on a game page.
not happening. 99.999999% of users like it.
Pwiz, first off, the site looks fabulous. No question about that and you guys should be proud of the work you've done. I, too, have some difficulties reading the message base for any length of time. Now that I'm older there's a problem with how much light enters my eyes and I believe Lasik surgery is in my future.
That's of course not your problem however I believe you did say you were checking into possibly adding a switch for members to be able to select the light or dark background. That would be the best of all possible worlds for some of us. Any chance of that becomming a reality?
Thanks for all you and Nevermore and the guys have put into the site. I'm very proud to be a long time member here.
Yes, it is something that's on our (extremely long) list of things to check into. But it wouldn't be changing the colors "back" it would be creating a lighter "theme" that goes along with the new site. It's not just a flip of CSS to make it happen as many of the graphics have the background hardcoded into them as well as some of the features. Since the overwhelming majority of users enjoy the new design, it's not a very high priority, but if it's something that can be achieved without a ton of additional work, we will certainly try to make it happen.
Yeh, that's why we also added a link to the message board at the very top of the page in the introduction text.
It may be most don't notice that.

WCAG 2.0 standards state that links should have a minimum contrast of 3:1 with plain text. That's why it goes unnoticed by many. They could probably use the same orange as used with the Lifetime Plus link or an orange with a lighter shade.
WCAG reference: Link
Example of losing visual focus of links when color isn't enough: Link
