Its basically a reskinned Dynasty Warriors with RPG elements and cliche story.

Its a fun time killer but I wouldn't say its an amazing blow your socks off kind of game.

Also i HIGHLY recommend you don't play it with English dubbing because the voice acting is really ****ing horrible not to mention they chose british voice actors which doesn't make much sense in a Japanese RPG.

I just started playing after getting bored with FFXIV. I've actually been having a blast playing it. It's typical Hack'n'Slash mixed with traditional RPG elements and it works VERY well with the DQ characters. Just going as far as to lip-sync the characters with their voices makes me appreciate the work put into production.

I do have some complaints, though. First it's capped at 1080p and 60fps. I have a 1440p G-Sync monitor capable of 144hz and while the game looks great on the monitor at 1080p60, I really would have liked to increase the resolution and remove the cap. I get the feeling the physics engine is tied to the framerate rather than delta-time, much like Fallout 4.
