I guess I wasn't paying enough attention on the freedom trail to figure out how to work the contraption on the wall with letters and numbers.....a little help here, please.....railroad

You need to spell railroad with it, You spin it to the red arrow points to the letter you need and click in the middle of the circle which push it in and "register" then you spin it again till you fully spelled railroad
