I am trying to hunt down specific resource item id's with in the console that I cannot find online.
Example I need "crystals" I typed 'help crystal' in hopes it would list all items in game with name of crystal and list of the id's next to them. However, this does not seem to work.
Is there a console command in fallout that can do this?
Thanks in advance

It was already mentioned in a post, but simple the command to search for anything including items/perks/ete. Open console and type=help "item name" 4 , so in your case you need crystals, type=help crystals 4 use page up/page down to find the resource, it'll be under MISC. Just remember you dont include the "type=" when searching, its simply "help crystal 4" and that gives you the list, in this case the item id shows as MISC: (0006907D) 'Crystal" so to add some you can do player.additem 0006907d 99 for example, this works for any perk/item/resource etc

Yes, there is! Try typing in: "help crystal 4" without the quotes. Kind regards.
Edit: Maxiimilian, you beat to it in 50 seconds

As the previous posters have said it'll be 'help '
As an example; 'help bobby 4' will show any item with bobby in its name.
On the other hand, if you want to look for an item with more than a single word (e.g. Bobby Pin) you must add quotations before and after, as an example; 'help "Bobby Pin" 4'.
This makes it easier finding a specific item among many items with a similar first or second name without scrolling or paging through the console.
I don't post often, but my posts are in the most helpful and respectful manner possible.

You can also type player.additem 6907d 99 The leading zero's in the object id are not required. It's only 3 less keystrokes, but over a lifetime that saved time can really add up... to like 4 whole minutes.
