Well, I was more than a little upset when I was on my female vault dweller last night and I found out there was a perk for men to be attracted to me, but no perk for women like New Vegas had like Cherchez la Femme. I'm really hoping I just overlooked it, but I doubt it, but what do you all think? Anyone else as upset as I am?

Here is the short and sweet answer.

No, I really don't care. I don't let things get to me like that. It's a game, not real life. I don't let real life bother me either, personally anyway.

Some things you can't change. Think about it! What if there was a game that existed that publishers wanted to make perfect and add every feature known to mankind. We'd be at it for decades... Probably call it "Everything: The Game"!... Or at least Duke Nukem: Forever.....

Future dlc may have it but for now nothing stops you from being with a woman, at least I heard that. A game can't be real life...so when that's so...there is one word that will help...

MODDERS!

Modders will fix what the game company no doubt decided not to put in, or to wait to put in..or perhaps it's because they wanted a more streamlined perk chart. DLC and mods are your answer. Just be patient. K?

There's also something of a plot hole that would make: The main character options were married to each other, happily so, and had a son. It would be just slightly strange if one of them were to turn out to be homosexual after years of blissful heterosexual marriage.

Everyone should not be expected to sacrifice plot, character definition, etc. on the altar of political correctness.

It's already been said by Todd Howard that you can romance the human companions regardless of gender, sure there isn't a perk for it but you can still do it.

Also it's not about being multicultural, I'm into girls myself and would love if it was able to be so in the games I play, especially open world RPG games that I like to immerse myself in where I don't want my character to be dating a guy.

for many games can be away to immerse yourself in another place to relieve stress or just unplug from the world, and I don't think you have the right to hate on how they'd like to do it, else I could just hate on the fact you wanna eat.

Or you can play the game they created or mod it later down the road.

Either way complaining about it on cheathappens seems kind of pointless to me.

Why pointless? Nothing is ever changed by doing nothing, and who knows? Maybe a dev will see this post and enact a change, or some modder will add a perk in. Either way, I agree with Sapphire, I want to immerse myself in my game so I wanted to play a woman into women since I am one. Who's to say the wife wasn't bisexual? It's easier for women to cross those lines to be with other women than it is for men to experiment. I just got Piper as a companion, I really hope it's true that I can romance her, she's very cute and I love the whole oppressed journalist angle.
