Found this quite by accident, noticing this while using the crafting station for my power armor. Seems there is a mod that allows you see on the HUD every NPC, only drawback to it is that it does not give you indication if the target is friendly, neutral or hostile.

Been enjoying the crafting, however do wish there was someway to increase the settlement cap via console.

You aren't the only one to find them creepy. They popped into horror culture from a short story in the Stephen King book Skeleton Crew. The cymbal monkey was on the cover, and has a creepy story inside about it.

What i have done is placed storage bins next to the power armor workplace the weapon workplace and armor workplace, food and scrap i have placed in the general one for the entire settlement i am using as main base.

The big issue is your pre war money also gets placed with your junk and it can from what i have been told get you alot of caps from a vendor, have not looked at it my self, but i placed that in a separate storage container along with the special clothing apparel you can put on your toon besides the armor items.

Legendary weapons are in a storage bin next to weapon crafting table, armor and power armor same deal storage bin next to the crafting stations.
