@DaCrazyBeggar well that was the last time i ever try to help you then since you treat me as a idiot. there is nothing wrong with my english.
@Ravencroft exactly since the "keystrokes are" dependent on the language settings and not the keyboard itself. so different languages means it don't understand the keys pressed.
quit arguing over this. it's stupid. the trainer presses keys for you to enter console commands. the keys being pressed are coded using the ASCII virtual keycodes for USA keyboard.. mainly because I am in the USA and using USA keyboard, and secondly because we don't have access to, nor the time to, reprogram the trainer 20 times to take into account all the keyboard types there are in the world. Either set up your Windows keyboard to use USA layout, or type in the commands yourself.
best,
Cal
because of the keyboards give you different letter depending on where you live this Link should give you a understanding how different our european keyboards are from the american keyboards.
You missed the point my friend, I know the difference between keyboard layouts.
I understand the basics of computer technology,
I see your English is not the best so I get how you misinterpreted my post.
What I don't understand is how a "programs" independent input of "." (e.g. in text based form) gets transformed into the corresponding button on the different layout. Unless the input is somehow not direct, or gets interpreted by the game through the keyboard layout.

Some programs don't work on the character bound to a key (i.e. they bypass the keyboard driver that maps physical keys to actual characters).
Many games do this, for instance, for performance reasons (it's quicker to react to the key itself than its character mapped by the OS, thus saving precious nanoseconds in your FPS of choice).
I haven't looked into the trainer's code (since it does what I want it to), but if that is the case, it might be injecting keycodes rather than keystrokes. Which implies that, if you are on a non-QWERTY layout, you don't get the expected character.
Thats the answer I was looking for, simple as that.
@Sutek I didn't treat you as an Idiot, there were and are some grammatical mistakes in your English, that's just a fact.(plus, didn't you treat me as an idiot thinking I don't know what keyboard layouts are?)
I know you wanted to help, but you misunderstood, I didn't ask what keyboard layouts are, I asked "how it affected the trainer".
I felt insulted by you thinking I didn't know something as basic as Layouts and I apologize for my anger, but you, too need to understand how your comment can easily be construed as an Insult.
@Caliber, Sorry about this, I wasn't even arguing in my 2 previous posts, just looking for an answer out of interest, I'm not using this trainer but directly using the console anyway.
I wasn't looking for a solution as I described in my first post. I was merely interested in what caused a problem for someone else.
Sutek misunderstood what I was asking about, thus I felt insulted. From my explanation of the Situation he felt insulted.
To me this was never an argument, and I didn't mean it to be, or for it to be a distraction.
I'd say i'ts an unfortunate affair of misunderstandings and leave it at that.
Trainer works great, err has been until recently. I cant pin down the crashes, but they only happen when the trainer is running and I zone/load to a new area. Doesnt matter if a cheat is enabled or not, just seems like the game randomly crashes, but only when the trainer is active. Maybe related to mods I have installed now?... i dont think the game updated, so maybe mods related.
All the features are awesome. The crafting one is especially awesome since you can get late game mods at level 1.
My game crashes as well...
It is trainer related, BUT, also TWITCH streaming related, I use AMD's Gaming Evolved app to try and stream this game, No such luck, one day I even had a crazy sound loop when I used a trainer option... It eventually overloaded and the pc just TURNED OFF...
I DO NOT blame Cheat Happens, I think Bethesda has to take more of the blame, after all they are using a rather old engine for Fallout 4..

I wouldn't exactly recommend AMD's gaming app for streaming, I also won't recommend nvidia's recording program for streaming either. They frankly aren't all that optimized, I have tested a lot of software and I think you'd be a lot better off with OBS, it's lightweight and minimizes game issues with trainer and streaming.
