just to let yall know that got some news about this from a reliable person seems this **** move overkill did is temp till the crimefest is over in a week cause they dont want to have to fix the mods when they do a update everyday (plus it would be hard on the trainer gods if they made a new trainer for this game every day for 10 days)

i am afraid it's a little more complex than that. major portions of the engine and the LUA functions themselves are coded differently. I would be ecstatic if they reversed course and put out the older type .exe with the functions we are used to having..
i agree they are patching multiple times a day right now, though

Part of those changes were likely to combat the longstanding LUA scripters that were doing stuff even trainer users could never do.
When I played last which was roughly a year ago there were tons of scripters running around.
