Turning on god mode seems to put enemies in god mode as well.

I activated god mode first, my character and all enemies became invulnerable.
I reached the first 'boss', deactivated god mode, and i could damage him, while i was still invulnerable (somehow) .
now, i'm at the second boss, and god mode makes me and the boss invuln, too.
