Way of the Samurai 4 Message Board  

Any chance of getting a GoG version of the trainer? The Steam version doesn't seem to work at all with it. Thanks!

Also there is a debug report generated by the trainer

You've given us nothing to work with. generally, the trainer will work on all versions of the game (trainers made by us the last couple years)

Sorry about the lack of information in my previous post.

It looks like the GoG version is running WayOfTheSamurai.exe (32 bit).


None of the trainer keys seem to work, despite hearing the
Activated and Deactivated. Also, when I open the Editor all of the values for Main and Selected Weapon are 0.
I've tried it with both Windows Defender enabled and disabled, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I also moved the trainer exe to the game folder and have run both the trainer and the game in Administrator mode. Still no differnce.

Did you try renaming the game to the one that our trainer is looking for?

Ok, Just tried changing WayOfTheSamurai4.exe to SW4II.exe, and now when I load up the game the trainer just says "Waiting for Game" in the lower part, where before it said "Game Found".

Pressing "F1" at the main menu only counts as the "Press Any Key" action,and brings you to the next menu. Pressing F1 again doesn't do anything.


Changing it back to WayOfTheSamraui4.exe I immediately get the Game Found again when loading the game, and F1 does the "Trainer Activated" again at the main menu. Loading into the game and verified no change - trainer still doesn't work.

Then I'm afraid it just doesn't support the GOG version. You can purchase the game on Steam or ask the game dev for a free steam key for your GOG purchase.
