The game basically errors out if you try to duplicate items or change the number held. If you change the values of health/hunger/thirst, the game doesn't care. I've tried editing the savegame file, but without any success. There's apparently a console, but I can't get that to open.

yep, ive fixed the 4 basic values. Also, ive been able to find the values for the items quantity, but as you mentioned, changing them crashes the game, however, you can freeze the values, allowing you to craft many items, with out the resources going down.

How'd you manage to actually fix the values? Even if I freeze them, they keep changing in game. They were float values correct?

the hunger, thirst etc are float, the items are 4 byte.

We just posted a new patch to address a number of issues users have been experiencing. We're still working on additional issues, but wanted to get this out as fast as possible.

This patch contains:
* A fix for some audio crashes
* A fix for rare broken checkpoint issue
* Fix for a rare dead-end river bug
* Fix for looping rain audio bug
* Wolf spawning fix (wolves should not spawn in initial region)

This trainer is old.

I think the time to get to work and do the upgrade
