I have noticed alot of games are being retired just wondering is this cause these games are pre-release/alpha and tired of updating them as patches come out?

They do it for lots of reasons. Too many patches for one, and sometimes games just can't be properly trained. Some have too many scanners put in them by Devs. Anytime a game bogs them down and keeps them from working on a lot of other trainers basically.
