I can confirm that the trainer is making the released version + hotfix patch of the game crash.

Yup, already filed a report with the game update notification system, thanks.

I would gladly contribute my points towards getting a new version of the trainer for this game, but that's not possible as the trainer is already free.

the game has already been updated twice. This really looks like another 'retired-indefinitely-until-the-developers-get-their- -together candidate.

The game is not crashing because of the trainer, The trainer is working like it should.
The only reason why the game is crashing is because the game is broken and the developers
are trying to fix it by patching it 5 or sometimes 10 times a day.
