At the risk of being yelled at, stabbed or worse.

But I need to ask in here, does ANYONE know of a sure fire way to fix SR;IV's lag issue when playing on an ATI 6800 series gfx card, I have tried every thing that the steam forums suggest, yea yea, I know its not the best place. I also visited V's own page, couldn't find head or tails in their forums.

Worst part is I have a measly 40 hours logged in the game, so I know I have played in the past, but after some freak patch and getting a new GFX card SR have been neigh on unplayable ever since.

So should I start saving for a new Nvidia card instead, seeing as a close friend of mine plays on a nearly identical rig just with an Nvidia card instead and some more memory and he has no lag even when cranking it up to max.

Oh and forgive me for bring back an old game to attention of the crowds again.

With 219 hours of playtime on Saints Row IV, I had the same issue yesterday, I don't think your video card is to blame, instead try to do a "Verify Integrity..." from Steam, it worked for me
