If it's anything like the past games, I reckon there'll be additem code/s for the building materials, though it'll probably be a few days post-release until someone tracks down all the id's.
For example, like additem 000000f # in the console. Think that was either bottle caps or bobby pins in 3 and NV. Then again, using the console might disable achievements, so for folk who like getting them a trainer option would be preferable. We'll just have to wait and see!
If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull****

Ah, achievements... Yeah, I totally forgot about those...

Personally, I never really cared for achievements, but depending on how many materials it is to build a specific settlement and such, I could see a CHeditor along with the basic trainer itself. Of course, the Console Command is always there too.

Eh, I'm just overthinking these type of things, honestly.

We won't find out about the settlements ourselves til Tuesday, lol.

the "F" option in the console is for bottle caps. Ive used it so many times in fallout 3, new Vegas so i know it on top of my head..
i am a uncurable weapon hoarder, i just HAVE to have ALL weapons on display when using homes that allows it.
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

    Hey guys,

So I see you've been turning Fallout into a first person Sims game like me. Is it possible to add Settlers to our Settlements through a console command? I've done a little googling but couldn't find anything.
If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much.

I haven't either, I even accidentally killed some settlers when I was alt tabbed out looking for ways to add more, ironically. I did discover though that clicking their dead bodies in console mode and typing resurrect would bring them back to life.

They wanted to walk off and leave the community then, like it was triggered that they weren't a part of it before, but going into construction mode and setting them to work in the fields as a job re-added them to my village.

If anyone knows how to add more settlers, please post here. I've tried legit ways in game like having extras in everything, and even having turrets totally surround the barrier of the village to protect the people, and it seems like the radio beacon doesn't want to work

Hey, they died there.. of course they would want to leave

But anyways, nice cheat to use resurrect and nice fix for them to stay.
I might use that when i need it.

For those wanting lots of materials for building up settlements or making mods for weapons and armor, copy and paste the following into a text file and put it into the game folder, hit ~ to open console and type bat

This will give 500 of all major crafting components and 12 of each food for crops. Just do this for every workbench and you wont need to set up supply lines.

Can use the trainer for unlimited town building or look on nexus for a CoSMOS table to allow/reset unlimited town building.

PS.. radio beacons work fine just be sure they are powered and it is slow going.. but I have a few settlements up to like 11-15 people now and am currently working on building a big 3 story mansion in Sanctuary for myself.

I had radio beacon going in all of my settlements in my first playthrough, and I never got above 8-9 settlers in Sanctuary, even though I had everything needed. I was hoping there might be a cheat to spawn a settler in my villages.
