Sorry but I didn't know where else to post my question and this is one of the trainers I use so... I've read today that Win 10 can & will stop mods & trainers from working.

As you can guess I've got the win 10 download app sitting staring at me, but I'm afraid to install it due to folks saying it stops trainers/mods.

Could anyone plz tell me if this is true? Does it really stop all my trainers from working?
If so it can go take a running jump & I'll stay on my win 7.

    Thanks,
    Mal.

I have windows 10 downloaded. I been using trainers still. Last one I used was the evil within. but others I've used have ranged from Manhunt 2 which is kinda an old one. and a couple other games new and old and haven't had much trouble. More trouble out of the OS itself than the trainers. But still getting used to changes. Hope it helps somewhat. I upgraded from windows 8 idk if that effects it either.

was reading a couple other posts out of boredem www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=123907&titleID=8463

yeah i say stay on windows 7. you cant run legacy ones.

Cheers! I think I'll take your advice and stay put on win7.

I did a test run using my wife's PC and had a tonne of network card issues with 10. It was rolled back very quickly!

    Thanks again,
    Mal.

I've noticed that since I've upgraded to Win10 from Win7, the F1 key no longer works in DA:I. I can close the game and hit F1 and immediately get that the trainer cannot find the game. But when I'm in game, I hit F1 and nothing happens. Is there something in Win10 that turns off the F1 key in game? If so, how do I shut the bloody thing off?

I've used the DAI trainer on windows 10 and haven't had any issues with it. Other than the usual troubleshooting (Run as admin, make sure your firewall/av isn't blocking it etc) I can't think of what might cause that issue. Have you tried running the trainer AFTER you start the game? Some people have also recommended a reboot, but that could just be coincidental or snake oil.

I did a couple of things and managed to get it to work. I turned off that game bar thing that came with Win10, and I started the trainer after I started the game. So either one of those worked for me. Thank you all for the help.

we will be migrating our programming environment to Windows 10 OS this week. I am not aware of ANYTHING from our previous testing that would prevent our trainers from working on Windows 10. Regarding a "Game Bar" I have no idea what is being discussed here regarding that and it might be useful for whomever posted this to describe in more detail what they are talking about.

    best,
