Im wondering what "player" "1" does in the editor menu. Also cant get the inbuilt cheat menu to work

Im wondering what "player" "1" does in the editor menu.

Also cant get the inbuilt cheat menu to work. I am running Alpha 5.3. Everytime I enable the cheat I get a increase in game speed.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
