Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.02 (STEAM/D2D), Super Health, Super Squad Health, E....

First the version of Mass Effect 2 that I am running through Origin is the Origin Version of the game that was purchased as a stand along game and not part of the Mass Effect Trilogy.

The first thing I did was I ran a repair on the game. Then I went into the Binaries folder and deleted the files MassEffect2.EXE and MassEffect2.Par After that I renamed The files ME2.EXE and ME2.par as MassEffect2.EXE and MassEffect2.Par. The I ran the renamed file MassEffect2.EXE as Administrator. After that I was able to run the Game through Origin without any problems. I am using the Steam/D2D Version 1.02 with the Origin version of Mass Effect 2.

    Worked for me Thnx!

You have to make sure you run the MassEffect2.exe file as administrator!

Yeah, this didn't work for me. Origin just gave me the missing or invalid file message. Good idea, though.

The fix did not work for me, and I thank you for the creative thinking. I believe that it would be safer for less tech savvy people for a Origin version of the trainer to be put in place please. 🙂

I don't have those either. It seems, this fix only works for the Triology, not for ME2 standalone.
