There might be another reason why Steam "dislike" cheats: the possible abuse of achievements.
Personally I don't give a **** about those trading items, it's their "buzz-nest" and have no value to me
Why worry about achievements of someone using a trainer when any Steam user can just get a freeware Steam DB manager and unlock all the achievements they want to?
