Il-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad Message Board  

this was put on the request list. this title is a very high realism flight simulator and damage simulator. there are hundreds of units and etc. each with their own flight dynamic and damage model, etc.

what exactly would you want the trainer to do? god mode on these types of simulations isn't always possible. also, things like bombs are actual hard point items that FALL FROM THE PLANE and are mounted on the plane as an individual object. it isn't just a counter that says you have 4 bombs, etc.

Dear Caliber,

May I request an Invulnerable or Invincible option in the Campaign section of the game, if at all possible.

If memory serves me correctly, the Quick Mission Builder section of the game does allow assignment of invincibility to the planes and unlimited ordnance.

The previous IL2 releases Cliffs of Dover and Pacific fighters, although done by different developers, had these options even within the Campaign but for some reason was removed from this game.

Thank you for checking on it. One more thing I forgot to mention is that this same team of developers also previously released a World War I plane combat simulator called Rise of Flight. In that simulator, within the campaign options panel, they also allowed the player to enable cheats such as invincible/invulnerable planes with unlimited ammo.

I understand bombs may be a bit hard to create unlimited ammo, but what about the guns? anyway to make the total ammo to like 9999 instead of 250 or whatever it is?
I think the game has a invincible option but it only saves you from small arm fire, not collisions etc

Just my two cents, not sure if its possible but thanks for giving it a look if you do

If it possible and not to demanding the ammo would be nice. I do struggle with only 250 ammo sometime.

Ammo load outs and type would really help out.
