Some random errors doesnt necessarily mean your ssd is failing, first of all make sure that that's the case, there are many tools that can help you with that.
Second I recommend you to save a little bit more and buy a pci-e based ssd, you wont regret it.
Note: if you do go for the pci-e ssd make sure your MB supports booting from such a drive, because your MB is a bit old it might not but there are workarounds.
Thank you both DABhand and Kingbob for your replies. I am not looking to do anything tomorrow with the SSD. It has to wait until after I renew my Visa to stay in Thailand next month.
@kingbob: Can you give me an example of the tools that I can use? I do not want to replace the drive if I do not have to.
