Locked and loaded and ready for the sale but I'm a little wary of Steam's pricing. Last big sale I bought some games at 40% and 50% only to see them go to 66% and 75% on one game a few days later before the sale was over.
I'm curious if their new refund policy will prevent that or allow us to ask for adjustments. They now say it's ok to return a game for refund and buy it back on sale. So will that mean we can return a game we bought on sale and buy it back at an even better sale price if it's during the same sale?
I got nicked like that on Wolfenstein, the South Park game, two of the Assassin's Creeds and a couple others.
Let the games begin.
Yep, you can return X game if it shows up with a higher discount, alto given the responce time on steam support, you prob won't get a reply untill its too late
I've honestly got to hand it to Steam for having such amazing sales on games.
....amazing? ......sofar i haven't spent a dime, all the unlocks from that......''game'', is rather meh

Ouch. C'mon bro, that's a little harsh. I've also found some I wanted but I'm trying to stay selective and just pickoff the bigger discounted titles. Are you limiting buys to AAA only?
Steam has started increasing the discounts already. They're going from 40% to 60% sooner than expected. Best deals have been on older titles but I'm hoping as Day 10 nears that they get greedy and offer up some newer games with better discounts. I love these big sales, more like a Chess game.
Stay tuned.
Edit: Btw, just saw something for the first time. Steam is excepting some items from being acceptable for refunds. I bought some DLC's for a sale game and they all have a notation in the cart saying: "Not eligible for refund!" Further down a note says: 1-This product contains consumable content that makes it not eligible for refund.
Consumable? This was for some Lords of The Fallen DLC's.
