Still unacceptable, I think I'm done with alpha's for good.
Even finished games today are so broekn and suffer from major optimization issues so what would expect from alpha..
If you want to enjoy a game properly you need to wait at least 6 months from the release day or in some cases 7 years like "Arma 2" and I'm sure "Arma 3".

I can understand your point, but ARK really are working a lot on optimizing the game and they are doing very well it has come a long way I don't lag anymore it's smooth gameplay

That's great news, maybe I'll rebuy it when and if it will be finished.

yeah I don't trust them either, I bought it with trading cards lol I spent not a dime on it, and nothing else peek my interest atm that I don't already have

There's a chance that they'll eventually get it completely patched up and we'll see it on a Steam sale at 50% to 66% off. I wouldn't mind that.

It's not very expensive already, don't count on a sale anytime these last 2 years

You guys know its in alpha stage, right? They are discounting the game because anyone playing it right now is literally helping them stress test, bug test, and give input on additional content for this game. I haven't played it yet but everyone is saying the devs are updating the game almost 10-15 times a day.

I HATE dayZ and arma, but this game actually looks pretty interesting. Especially since motivated developers are tweaking, polishing, and adding content everyday. To qoute almost every single youtube review about this game sofar: "this game has alot of potential to be something really great and I can't wait to be there when it does."

That's the exact same thing they said about Dayz and look at it now 3 years and millions of dollars later it's still in alpha and it's much more broken from its release state.
Also Ark is not coming close to be interesting and atmospheric as Dayz imo and to tell the truth I think Dayz really had and has a potential but I dont think it will ever be finished or at least not in the next 2-3 years.

About the alpha, all we say that Steam should raise the minimum requirements of approving alpha to at least "playable".
