@fslslayer - Nice video setup. That 780 was a great series and running tri sli, get outta here. What cpu are you running with the triplets? Glad to hear the game is decent.
@Kingkob - I played some DayZ online with my nephew and a friend. Man, I almost quit gaming. lol You'd spend all that time farming items then somebody kills ya and you lose everything. Lemme outta here! Reminded me again why I play SP.
I was gonna add another Titan Black in Sli but then you got me thinking about that eight core setup. Is it solid now, bugs worked out, or should I wait awhile? It's probably got enough pop for me without OC'ing right away.
You know that's the only thing I liked about Dayz everything is pretty rare and you loot for hours while trying not to die by hunger, cold, zombies etc.. and then one small mistake you get shot in the head and black screen! it really intensifies the fear factor and the gloomy atmosphere.
I recommend you to give it another try but play it like you are really there, you cant just run on roads and out in the open you'll need to prone a lot and stay in the bushes, and when you enter a city you'll have to switch to urban warfare mode and behave like the freakin swat team lol.
Tried to play once more after all the last patches and nothing changed, this game is totally unplayable for me, I just cant play a game at 20-30fps avg...
This is the same reason I quit playing Dayz, these games look good and they are ton of fun but at the end of the day the poor optimization takes all the fun from it especially when it gets you killed.
I'm with you there King. If I can't hit 60 fps, I won't like how it looks or how it plays. And with the rig that you've got, to get that FPS. SMH. What are these devs testing this on, a mainframe?
