I considered it being a false positive. However considering the type that was detected worried me more since it was not one of the typical false positives that was described on the link you provided.
I appreciate the clarification though. I always thought that if even 1 was detected on these multi-scans online it was worthy for a cause of concern - I guess that is wrong.
I am paranoid because I just did a format and reinstall recently and really don't want to mess it up - and the trainer file looks different than your typical trainers you allow us to download.

Firstly, ive been a member of CH since around 2007, If their trainers weren't trustworthy I still wouldn't be with them and exclusively use them for trainers. Hell, I even recommended a trainer maker that did work on Dungeon Defenders years back to come here and provide his services for that game. Wouldn't do that if CH wasn't 100% legit.
Secondly, the trainer looks different because it isn't made by the ones that normally make trainers, that being Cal and 0x, they each have a different graphical style. nothing more nothing less.
False positives are going to happen due to the nature of how trainers work and some AVs detect code.
