I keep getting the following error, not sure if the trainer or the game code is to blame but have done the following:-
On the way to the shore (marker may still be active) monster nest nearby this is when it goes pete tong.
clean install of gtx 980 drivers made no difference restarted after install
turned of nvidia streaming made no difference
run the game with trainer activated but no options selected game ok
ditto but selected f11 toggled on/off game ok
run game with numpad 6 only game ok
run game with numpad / only game ok
run game with numpad 0 only game ok
run game with all above options on game ok
run game with numpad 1 1 press selected game ok
run game with numpad 1 multiple presses game will crash at random intervals
Used CTRL-H to disable trainer game still crashes after num 1 pressed multiple times
Why would you press numpad 1 multiple times? (it's like asking for trouble) 🤔
Anyhow, I was able to crash the game while looking at my cards and pressing F11, once

Iit seems like for vampirechick and myself the health stops working and you need to press it again.
I've had a couple of CTD using the trainer during a cut scene, also when I was doing the mission to enhance your mutagens it would crash fighting the centipedes every time I had the trainer on.
In essence the trainer works, it could be individual machines it causes random CTD on during cutscenes.
I'm running Windows 10, could be that too knowing how Windows 10 is
what we need is
1) repeatable crash that can be reproduced
2) a savegame right at the point where we can test the repeatable crash
otherwise it's impossible to 'fix' this since we aren't having the same problem
best,
Cal
OK, here is a savegame with one of the CDT's that can be reproduced (4 times so far):
it is right before a conversation where the CDT happens at the end of the conversation.
Getting an instant CTD on cutscenes with trainer activated.
Crash occurs with trainer Health and Stamina options active, as well as just an activated trainer without any options active.
Using June 1st Trainer version, deleted the previous trainer and re-downloaded June 1st.
Didn't have CTD issue on cutscenes with the May 30th version of the trainer.
Save game attached.
Issue SOLVED
1 In Steam Library went to Witcher 3 OPTIONS
2 In OPTIONS > LOCAL FILES > VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE
3 After verification, Steam downloaded some file (4.6MB)
4 Restarted PC, just in case
Game and Trainer run without any issues now.
Running trainer with "Run as administrator" and added as an exception in my antivirus.
Tried the same VERIFY method for Hitman, also runs perfectly now.
Thanks, RaziWu. I was getting frequent, reproducible CTDs as well, usually at certain cutscenes or while galloping, and this solved the problem for me.
