I also get "trainer cannot find game" have tried both trainers and run them both as admin, and the game as admin and the game not admin with the same "trainer cannot find game" issue. is there something else i can try?
I just got done playing PC and the trainer worked just fine for me. I hit F1 at the main screen and "trainer activated". I use option 1 & 3 during the races and both options worked fine.
Assuming you have nothing else running such as A/V, fraps, or any other programs, you may want to try putting the trainer in the same folder as the game .exe. This sometimes clears up "cannot find game" issues.
For me trainer is good to go on Win 7 64bit. Steam version.

Ok there seems to be 2 different exe files you can launch the game with, pCARS.exe and pCARS64.exe. when i used the 64 (for 64bit computers) it worked!
I would never had known there were 2 different ones if you hadnt suggested i put the trainer in the same dir as the game. thank you!
