I haven't seen this specific problem pop up so I assume I have something unusual wrong. I've went through the entire troubleshooting guide and uninstalled IE 11 and made sure urlmon.dll was v8. I've ran trainers as admin and not admin, before and after game launch. I've ran the trainers from different places. I've completely removed my AV (Webroot). I've turned off windows firewall and defender. I even wiped my HDD and reformatted and reinstalled windows(for an unrelated reason).
Every trainer I've tried for every game crashes silently at some point after I activate it. It has varied from 15 seconds or so to over a minute before ceasing to function. No error messages, No AV hits, No error listed in Event Viewer. I'm baffled.

You said urlmon.dll is Version 8, not 9? What version of IE did you roll back to?
What version of Net Framework do you have?
You mentioned locations. You tried putting the trainer in the same folder that has the game's Exe file?
After crashes, is the trainer still there and hasn't mysteriously vanished?

IE is version 8.0.7601.18806 Not sure what it rolled back to, I just unticked the IE 11 feature and uninstalled IE 11 via programs and features. and removed the Windows Update for IE 11.
.net 4.5.2
I have tried putting the trainers in the game folder. of several different games.
The trainer is still there after it crashes. It just silently closes. no errors, no messages, no sounds.
This is happening with every trainer I have tried so far. Old format, New format, doesn't seem to matter.

I'm not sure if you got to the right versions with the IE and urlmon business. It might work with IE 8 but I was thinking IE-9 and urlmon.dll ver 9.
I'm sure the Staff will offer some help in the AM but you might check thru this post by BigRob called "Trainer crashing at load." PWiz has reposted it but I have lost the link to his so look at it here:

Pretty sure the urlmon.dll is not related to my problem. If I understand correctly that was only affecting legacy trainers not updated for Win8/10. This is affecting trainers such as GTA V, Dungeons II, and Son of Nor.

This sounds exactly like a resident memory AV scanner killing the process. Some security program or third party app is interfering with the trainers. You'll have to systematically figure out what it is.

Found it. For anyone else who has this issue with Webroot, it was the "Webroot Infrared" heuristic setting. Strange that disabling and turning off Webroot didn't solve the problem, but leaving it active and disabling this option did. So far.

Also strange considering that you previously told us that you COMPLETELY REMOVED YOUR AV (WEBROOT).
