Apparently they are going to add levels and stuff in the "near" future and yes the update appears to have broken the trainer for me too. I am torn between requesting trainer update now or waiting on the game update.

Developers have added anti cheat and encryption and totally recoded the game. Unfortunately due to the time constraints, the difficulty involved, the age of this game, and the fact that almost nobody is playing it now, we are going to retire this title.

I spent some time with it, but wasn't able to isolate anything properly.
