I did some more research about this Banning in SP player.
From what I understand, there is 2 type of stock market, one is the LCN Stock Markets which is strictly SP stock market, while BAWSAQ are Online Community Base Stock Market, so what you put in there effect anyone else.
So base on that speculation, I wouldn't recommended to use Cheated Money on BAWSAQ Market that put you on highest risk of getting ban
Source Link
"The prices of BAWSAQ stocks are affected by the Grand Theft Auto V online community."
So probably the reported player that got his account restricted is probably due to placing money in the BAWSAQ
The GTA V Online Community or the GTA V Online & SP Community?
I thought it was the Online players actions that affected the market for both Online and SP. While Anything that happens in SP doesn't affect the Online Market and feed back into R* servers.
Either way you are probably right to play it safe and stay out of BAWSAQ.
This is pretty self explanatory, but it might help some people:
If you really can't live without internet while playing, because that's the only time you can cheat on your girlfriend on Reddit, do this:
-Run Steam in offline mode.
-Start GTA V in offline mode for social club with the -scOfflineOnly command added to the exec line (right click GTA V title, then go to properties and set launch options, then paste that in there).
-Enjoy
If you plan to play the game online, obviously reverse these steps and make sure that you restart the game to avoid any potential memory tampering left over from the trainer. DO NOT switch from SP to MP if you have used the trainer without restarting the game. You MAY get banned.
Oh, and I should add, that this will stop the game from patching until you run steam back in normal mode, which is nice for games that release a patch every day and you cant be bothered to wait for it to download.
Did you try this yourself because I can't run the game when steam is offline. I can run it with the social club offline but not if steam is offline and I googled it and other people can't either.
I would rather not pull my internet plug as I like to be able to google some things I need to know in the game like locations Maude's missions etc.
Makes me think that even if I pull my plug it wouldn't start up I would have to pull it after I start it.

I have Retail (PC Download Directly from RockStar) so I couldn't tell you, and I haven't cheated yet in GTA5 lol
I was just speculating on whats connected to online or whats not
Wow, just wow...
I'm banned
I don't know the exact reason yet, but all I did was using the trainer on singleplayer. For your safety, better disconnect ur internet connection.

After using the trainer, and quiting the game to the main menu did you go online right afterwards, if so then the options you had on was still active.
