Just wondering what can they do?

I don't care one bit for MP so as long as I can play SP I am not worried, they can ban me from MP all they want.

I just checked on google for more information.

So far, people seems to be cheating fine, both on offline mode and without it.
I didn't manage to find more people reporting bans so far, nor any proof that money cheat is bannable.

As of now, people are aware of chances to geet banned, but noone knows for sure. Support replied to the guy from CH, that they do not have any information of that.

Easy way to ensure you're offline: Windows key + R, type in cmd, at the command line type ipconfig /release
wait a second, launch whatever you need to play offline.
when done repeat process, but type ipconfig /renew

If it doesnt renew for whatever reason, rebooting will fix.

Not to accuse anyone of lying in this thread but I really doubt
the people claiming they got banned by Rockstar playing SP.

I have really cheated a lot with money and health, ammo and such and haven't been banned. Then again I was only using it playing SP and yes I was connected to the internet.

So I suspect lots of you were actually trying to cheat MP and then it's your own fault.

This is pretty self explanatory, but it might help some people:

If you really can't live without internet while playing, because that's the only time you can cheat on your girlfriend on Reddit, do this:

-Run Steam in offline mode.
-Start GTA V in offline mode for social club with the -scOfflineOnly command added to the exec line (right click GTA V title, then go to properties and set launch options, then paste that in there).
-Enjoy

If you plan to play the game online, obviously reverse these steps and make sure that you restart the game to avoid any potential memory tampering left over from the trainer. DO NOT switch from SP to MP if you have used the trainer without restarting the game. You MAY get banned.
Oh, and I should add, that this will stop the game from patching until you run steam back in normal mode, which is nice for games that release a patch every day and you cant be bothered to wait for it to download.

Thanks, this really helps. I do have one question. What about reversing money. I've seen so many conflicting reports on that. Does it not matter if we reverse money?

Say that to blizzard and Starcraft 2 single player campaign trainer useage...
