Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition Message Board  

What chapters do I need to play through in order to unlock Mercenaires? I just beat the last chapter but Mercenaries didn't unlock

Every single chapter

Trainer can not find game.

I've tried both the regular and gold edition trainer.
I've tried activating it on the main menu, the main main menu (Where it let's you select modes etc), in-game. I've tried just about anywhere, at any given time.

Simply - Can not find game.

I started to test this after the Save Migration tool patch updated, maybe that's the cause?

Gold edition looks for

Launcher.exe

to be running..

also, you have to run trainer with ADMIN rights

Mine was running perfectly until I got to Chapter 6-1, the ship, and bang! Chris's ammo just kept depleting.
I activated as normal through admin rights and the voice was as per normal along with the number keys. I'm totally lost with this. Tried reloading the cheat again but no joy.
First 5 Chapters were great!

justa fyi, the game got updated yesterday and the devs changed the name of the main .exe to re5dx9.exe.

note there is still a "Launcher.exe" but its basically useless now and is only used to launch re5dx9.exe.

this is for the gold edition?

the normal edition looks for

RE5DX9.exe

or

RE5DX10.exe

to be running

I have just re-download the regular RE5 trainer.
Still the same issue - Trainer can not find game.

In my steam library, it states - RE5.
In game menu, it states - RE5:Gold Edition.
So I'm not sure which is which.

But regardless, I've tried both trainer for normal and gold edition. And results are the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Or any confirms that trainer still works with the game?
