Adding Gold: What i did was i got to the first Inn, talk to the inn keeper and ask her what she has for sale, buy a cheap item, then sell her an item then leave then Active the increase Gold option and it should work now. Well i hope it does :-)

I too can't seem to get the gold option to work, tried hitting I hitting 5, waiting then closing when i hear activated. Open it up again and hit 6 and nothing happens, tried the vendor suggestion as well but gold doesn't budge.

with any new game and trainers it will be a bit of a learning curve, breathe and read how other have done it and if we have to wait nicely and a new one will be out soon.

Have noticed the health buffs arent working, am i turning them on at the wrong time, dunno, but can vouch that the xp and gold options work. as for the easy kills havent been able to get that to work...yet

Health is working for me for my companions, but not for pets for Ranger classes. Wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't give you big penalties for your pet dying.

i've tested it here on multiple saves and etc.

regarding the durability and health options, i can look at this option further, but the suggestion to turn the options off while not needed is good advice for now.

Tried to do gold exactly as you said Cal, didn't seem to work. Also tried the merchant suggestion mentioned above, didn't work either. W8.1 64, Steam version of the game, Hero edition.
