Thanks for the update but the Max XP options still doesn't work. But it took only 4 searches with cosmos to find the value.

Have you tried holding the Numpad key longer than usual to let the option kick in?

Yes, I tried that. It just went 'activated/deactivated'. Can't try that again because I'm already at max level on my current save and I'm not starting that aweful game again. It came for free with origin access and has a decent enought story to hurry through once.
