Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Message Board  

Any chance of getting a Steamworks version trainer please Capcom just updated the game to remove GFWL from the Steam bought copies so the old trainers for DR2 & OTR no longer work with the Steamworks edition of the game.

GFWL trainers still work ok with the GFWL only version so do not need retiring but Steam is now only selling the Steamworks edition.

Ok understood but I just spent all my credits on Ori so it will have to wait a little while unless someone else with spare credits can request both DR2 games.

actually we are going to stop updating for a few days BOTH titles. they are patching them over and over as they try to fix this update to 'steamworks'...

So the steam achievements are now able to be viewed, I do not know if it is still updating like forever with patches but it looks like that steam is making progress.



I noticed that someone tested DR2's trainer and it works. I did just check the latest DR2: oFF the Record. It still does not work and causes it to crash when you hit esc for the menu screen.

I know everyone has other things going on and such so no rush on updating I feel. Can't wait to see when it is working again since I need to do the stupid Alpha vs Beta achievement and would love to have her with full health the whole way.

I just put 1563 credits into this. I hope it makes a difference!

They updated the game since then, it apparently kept crashing. I do not own the game just yet, I was going to purchase this Friday. I'll be gutted if the June trainer does work, what a waste of so many credits haha.
