I watched a part 1 27 min walkthrough on youtube and I was bored watching it. Does this get more exciting as it progresses?

You'll be just as bored playing it. It is non-stop walking around opening doors and pressing buttons that seemingly do nothing, more walking, backtracking, oh yeah and every once in a while a jump scare or two and then back to more walking, more doors more crap.
It's like it's trying to be Outlast but NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD...
