Done, uploaded my own save game.
I did fix the Battle Items issue

I did erase my characters to prevent online abuse of my OP character.

I did create an earthling with the ugliest look I could, lol.
Even gave him Arale's Chan Poopstick.

Download file and replace
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\******\323470\remote

And do not forget to remove the steam cloud on the game or you might still get your previous save game.
Forgot to mention that in the comments of the file I uploaded.

Ask me if you have any question about my save.


Edit: you can reactivate Steam cloud after you get in game at least once.

What do you mean? I do use steam and since it is my save it should work.

Did you remove the cloud saving issue as I mentioned?

Doesn't work for me too. I guess the save file is bound to your Steam account.

It's what I'm thinking...

But there's probably a way to override it.
Somehow...

I'm looking into it and trying to see if anything can be done or if anyone found a solution.

Came here to say this,tried in offline mode, disabled cloud saves,... tried everything. The game probably does a check to make sure the .sav matches your steam userID.

It just starts a completely new game with nothing unlocked...unfortunatly

hehe damn i did the dump thing by not making a backup of my save oh well hopefully you find a way of making your save work because i honestly cant be assed going through all the tutorials again lol
