For the first time using a cheat happens trainer my computer gives me an error message.. says something like Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
Ant help or suggestions would be appreciated and thanks for all the trainers
It seems your antivirus/other security software has deleted/quarantined something vital. Most of the times it's the trainer exe and the created tmp file.
A good idea is to create one folder to store all our trainers in (maybe you want to use our Trainer Manager? -> Link) and exclude this folder in your AV/other security software from any scans.
Then exclude your Windows tmp folder, run the trainer, open your AV/other security software -> Exclusions -> browse to the Windows tmp folder and exclude ~CheathappensTrainer* as a wildcard exclusion with the asterisk at the end as lots of our trainers create tmp files with a similiar name.
After this delete the Windows tmp folder exclusion as this poses a security risk. Make sure all files get access to the internet (or use the offline key while completely offline) as firewalls also tend to block these files.
You may get some ideas about issues with our trainers on the Trainer Troubleshooting Guide page here -> Link or on our AV notifications page about how to create exclusion rules in your security product and where to look for -> Link
