It is indeed the Crescent unit (Goo Artillery) which causes crashes.

i killed off my Crescent units before activating god mode
the game didn't crash at all
i'm guessing it has something to do with their unique weapon
The crescent artillery projectile is susceptible to AA, which leads me to believe that the projectile also has HP.

god mode simply turns on the god mode of the game itself. it writes to one value. why the game would crash using it's built-in god mode is a puzzle, if so.

grr, just gonna start playing some more. Will have to play in offline mode for a while.
BTW still not sure how goo resource is suppose to work, it doesnt seem to have 3 options. From the readme im suppose to press it once for max reources, again for just below, and 3rd time for off. If i press option 5, it says activated, if i press it again it says deactivated, no middle option for just below.

Same here. I can't keep track of which stages that button is. I have tried to just let the mother good get max resources then turn on god mode and it kinda lock it at that stage.

Are you saying that if god mode is off the audio indicator for the "Goo Resource" option will give more than the usual on/off?
The question we have here is, if there is more than 2 modes (on, off) how can we tell which mode it's on with a dual mode indicator?

The question we have here is, if there is more than 2 modes (on, off) how can we tell which mode it's on with a dual mode indicator?
try this... don't turn on anything until your goo has reached maximum HP. split it if you want to into another mother goo or 3 and let them reach max HP. then turn on the godmode and resource options..
I have no other suggestions. this game was programmed strangely to use 'HP' as the actual goo resource. while godmode is on, NO HP actions will occur to YOUR goo mothers..
