Where are the cheats at? I googled Venetica cheats and all I seem to be getting is achievements.

I noticed that next to Trainers and Editors it says Status: Active which would suggest that a new trainer is a possibility, but I wont hold my breath. I realize this game isn't going to be considered a high priority by any means considering in video game terms it's considered relatively old and it doesn't have a huge following. It's probably not even on the staff's radar so to speak. I do wonder if making a request with credits would work though. Maybe? I know I would like one, even though according to a post here I just read there is a method of cheating using a text editor on one of the game files. A trainer is always my first preference.

I (think) just fixed this game's bugs to run by using a well named program: Venetica_autofixer_setup2.4 (after the usual DirectX, PhysX and vcredist)...and this game deserve a better rating

I'm hesitant to go further and "mod" the game files and eventually crash again and again and...tired of it

Supposed to be easy to change the "keybinds.ini" file with any/all of those lines:

"KC_F5 = VeniceApp:setPlayerNotKillable(10000)
KC_F6 = VeniceApp:setPlayerNotKillable(0)

KC_F7 = Cheats.togglePlayerAttackable()
KC_F2 = Cheats.togglePlayerCollision()
KC_F3 = Cheats.givePlayerSkills()
KC_F4 = Cheats.setPlayerToStart()
KC_F5 = Cheats.toggleQuestMgrGUI()
KC_F6 = Cheats.toggleCutsceneSelector()
KC_F7 = Cheats.togglConversationSelector()",

with the expected results if the Steam folder is the only one needed to be re-arranged 🤔

That's why I definitely prefer a trainer

P.S.: Be careful not to bind the same keys twice.

With the obvious risk of repeating myself, here's the way I made it work for myself:

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "keybinds.ini" file in the "game" directory. Add the following lines to the file:

KC_F1 = player:set(_N("Health","1000"
KC_F2 = player:set(_N("Mana","1000"
KC_F3 = player:set(_N("DeathEnergy","1000"
KC_F4 = player:set(_N("Money","1000000"
KC_F5 = player:set(_N("LearningPoints","1000"
KC_F6 = player:set(_N("AttributePoints","1000"
KC_F7 = VeniceApp:quickSaveGame("quicksave_1"
KC_F8 = VeniceApp:quickLoadGame("quicksave_1"
KC_F9 = VeniceApp:quickSaveGame("InGame"
KC_F10 = Cheats:togglePlayerVulnerable()

+ NOTE +: Punctuation is fundamental in programming, thus those "winkies" represent ( " or " ), I had to put a space in-between to make it legible 😉 (this one's intended)


Then, press one of the following keys during game play to activate the corresponding cheat function.



My Settings
F1 = Health + 1000
F2 = Mana + 1000
F3 = DeathEnergy + 1000
F4 = Money + 1000000
F5 = Quick save 1
F6 = Quick save 2
F7 = Reputation + 2000
F8 = ScreenShot
F9 = Quick load 1
F10 = God on/off
F11 = Learning Points + 1000
F12 = Attribute Points + 1000

ENTER = Cancel Cutscene
END = Toggle HUD

Forest Hut - These are four buttons two on each side of the second story fire place / 2431

Catacombs - These are four stones on either side of the iron bars / 4132

Chimney - This is a valve by the stairs in the Arsenal District / 3241

Windmill Tavern - These are four stones on the balcony inside the tavern, all the way on the left side / 1324

Victors secret - These are books in the bottom floor of the library in The Net of the Mask building / 1431
