So with the incredibly limited Navigation aids in the game, I've lost my main island and need a way to find it again. Whats the best way to go about it, Considering the fact I think this game is procedurally generated, does my island just disappear? Or what?

tip i use. when you travel to a new island, place three sticks down in an arrow pointing back to your home island. i use this to navigate easily from island to island and not get lost

when i need to travel i usually build a couple of foundations pointing to where i came from.

I always beeline island to island and as soon as I land on an island, put two sticks pointing back to the previous so you can always come back to your island. Very simple, very easy, very effective.
