Honestly, screw this game. Broken "physics", broken AI, broken everything.
Let's start with the broken "physics":
- Mounting a curb at speed will set you off like a big monster truck trying to run over a smaller monster truck.
- Random launching at ludicrously high velocities (690 kmh or thereabouts)
Next, the broken AI:
- The AI have an insane amount of traction on the road surface, even when it's an icy road, where you, yourself are slipping and sliding all over the place.
- Shunt them at high velocity to find them unaltered. You, however, get stripped of your ability to stay on the road and fly off into a spiral without any hope of regaining a lead in the race, assuming you had any lead to begin with.
- When everything is said and done, there's absolutely no replay value because the AI will always outdrive you no matter what, and you can't do anything about it.
How about the stunts and the endless grind for level 50 parts?
- Absolutely atrocious. You can do a specific stunt for a specific part with a specific bonus 100 times and still not get the specific part you want. Oh, you don't want to do that? Well, there's no other way to get that part so you're S-O-L buddy.
- I once did 1 stunt for god-knows-how-many-times and I wager I earned 100000 "Bucks" and still didn't get the part I wanted. If I had 1 United States dollar for every stunt I've ever done in the game (counting the retries) I'd probably have around $1560. $1500 for the stunts, and $60 for selling this abomination of a game.
