Don´t Starve Message Board  

I dont't know if this is the correct place, but It was the only one I figured was appropriate. Is there going to be a Don't Starve Together trainer? Or, is it not going to be made as the game works around Online and Co-Op play? Just wondering :-)

if its online only then no.

As far as i know it is player hosted, so it'd be p2p. I'd use a trainer or editor to create something like a gauntlet or arena and then open the server or invite people to survive in it.

based on our experience with the last game and this developer in general with their 'early release' titles, we will look at this title when it is completed and out of early release. working on the last game was a nightmare and required complete changing of the scripts.. I am assuming this will be even worse..

Wouldn't this be VAC secured?

The game is not VAC secured and there is a single player offline mode.
Players also, host their own servers in this game and make it public or private and password protected.
I use CoSMOS on it all the time, and it works just fine.

A trainer is useless for the game right now because there is a built in "builder" mode that unlocks everything in the game and allows you to create any item whether you have the resources or not.

Once the game is officially released though that is most likely going away, so a trainer might be useful eventually.
