Ive been looking for a week now and cant find a cheat or trainer that will allow you to change class mid game. If anyone knows of one please let me know asap. I picked the wrong class to play from the start unknowingly, being mage as i found out can be incredibly boring and wanted to try another class but am too far into the game to drop it all to restart. Ive heard rogue is incredibly fun and want to try it so bad .

To my knowledge, no, there's no way. An awful lot of dialogue is based on your class, so even if there did turn out to be a console command to switch, it'd probably break a lot of things.
If you want to know if it'll be fun to play as a certain class before you go out of your way and sink twenty disappointing hours into a new character, and/or if you're not sure of what specialization to pick later on, the best thing you can do is simply take a companion of that class/spec to a zone and kill things whilst playing as that companion. Play around with their skills, take a few respec amulets with you (Bought from the blacksmith shop), because they play exactly as a player character of that class does.
If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull****

Being a mage is an awesome class, even better when you are an evil tempered mage who sides with the rebel mages.
It becomes very very very interesting further on.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

I only have two mission left until end game. I will play the game again, but with a different story. This time I'm human scout. Can I play the Danish Elf and still do the mage story?

Used an Eluvian to (wibley wobbly-timey wimey) travel to Denmark. They became a citizen there, then went back to Thedas. Ergo, Danish Elf. lol

An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I love the mage - except the Knight Enchanter. That is absolutely boring to play and to watch (animations).
I loved Archers in previous DA games, but not in this one - deleted my Tempest Archer because it was as dull as ditchwater (maybe an Assassin Archer could be fun). But Double Dagger Tempest is damn awesome. Warrior is next up, but I'm not sure what kind. I usually hate S&B, but this game is throwing my usual likes for a loop.
As others have said, no respec, and not likely to get modded due to the lack of tools and the possibility of breaking other things. Try out by playing your companions with different builds/specialisations.
And yes, you can play a mage as a Dalish elf - as anything except a dwarf, in fact. All races can play any class and specialisation ... except no dwarven mages.

I think he was referring to the fact that Dalish = Elf. Saying both is redundant.
