    It's a program called "Sandboxie".

    www.sandboxie.com/

If I run the game and trainer in that program *run in sandbox* (right click) everything works great.

But if I just open the game and trainer directly it does not work and instead the game crashes (if the trainer is activated -- the game works fine unless the trainer is activated).

However oddly enough if I open the game+trainer directly about 50 times it does eventually work (that one time).

However it works with 100% success when running in sandbox....

I think the problem has something to do with the trainer trying to connect to internet when opening it (despite having an offline key file in its directory).

If it is allowed internet the problem remains the same and if I block it on firewall the problem is still the same.

The sandbox seems to work for some unknown reason maybe because it blocks internet in a different way? I don't know.

It is a strong suggestion that your computer environment is at fault. Sandbox not only prevents the trainer from interacting with the environment, but that property also works the other direction as well (that is, your computer environment cannot touch the sandbox). Your troubleshooting step is really just a glorified version of a clean boot or using safe mode.

You will need to run through the troubleshooting guide to determine what it is that is interfering with the trainer.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

You are reading me wrong... The game AND trainer are running in the sandbox and BOTH are working perfectly fine no problems.

The PROBLEM is when I try to run the game + trainer OUTSIDE of the sandbox (ie clicking game +trainer on desktop) THEN the game crashes if the trainer is activated (at many points such as opening *our stuff* window).

The problem has something to do with the authorization check I know that for certain. Since the only difference between in and out of the sandbox is the auth check is completely nulled by the sandbox internet block.

Also I'm not exactly complaining as such as I can play the game and the trainer is epic of course I just wish I didn't have to run it in the sandbox (I almost never run anything in the sandbox).

The main problem is if this problem doesn't get fixed it may affect other trainers too and there are games that simply *do not* run in the sandbox no matter what (which would be a problem if their trainers suffer the same problem with me).

I am running as admin of course.

internet must be completely absent/disabled (not just blocked) for offline key to work. sounds like something on your PC is blocking the trainer from running locally. prob some AV, firewall or other security software.

PWizard, I do have Comodo Firewall and the trainer is set to be allowed internet it is only in the sandbox where it is not allowed internet.

So when running outside of the sandbox it is indeed set to full internet access.

When I open it does says *Authenticating* then it flips to "Press F1 in game".

The main problem in this issue that you're not accounting is that you are the only one with this issue. I cannot replicate the crash with the authentication on my end. You will need to further investigate your computer environment (that is, without the sandbox) to determine what the issue is.

You can feel free to teamviewer.com me and see the problem for yourself.

I am of course trying to find a definitive reason myself.

    -- EDIT

Even if I'm the only one with this problem it doesn't mean it doesn't need fixing (on my end or on trainer end).

Would appreciate any help in fixing this matter.

Here is a video of the problem in action:
    Link

Hopefully the video will help you out.

    -- EDIT

Thanks for looking into the matter and responding in a timely fashion.

I did test Comodo being fully disabled all firewalls turned off and it no change on anything (this meant there was nothing on the entire PC causing anything to not use the internet... nothing).

Haven't tried uninstalling it since that would be very problematic it has large complex rule sets and I would lose them hmmm. However assuming Comodo is somehow interfering with the trainer auth check (I'm not sure of that but I can't rule it out) does anybody else have Comodo who can use the trainers no problem? Also Windows Firewall is completely disabled.
