Hello, so my game is constantly crashing with the resource multiplier. I am doing it exactly like the instructions. Only in my saferoom during the daylight hours in the transfer window. It works on some items but then crashes on others. Each time the game crashes I loose everything I did in that session.
I am running the trainer in admin mode with avg turned off. I am not using the freeze day timer or any other option at the time.
Yup same here. Tried to follow the instruction to the letter and not even once I managed to prevent that crash. Happens every time.
So unlike other folks, I can get every option to work fine and dandy. My question comes in the form of the utilization of the Resource Multiplier. It says in the instruction to leave some piles uncleaned so you can 'move items back and forth' to multiply them. I don't get an option to put stuff back into the piles though. There is an option to Drop stuff, but it remains greyed out and unclickable. Is there something I am doing wrong, or did the game have an update which made it impossible to return stuff to piles?
Regarding not being able to move items back and forth, I don't get that option either.
Man I am so confused, don't know what's wrong with me using the trainer. Been using it with as much precision as possible...yet somehow the game is crashing.
Let me ask: Does getting too many of one item using multiplier option result in crash? I often get multiple items in huge quantity while looting using this option. Also I noticed while one guy is opening or doing something, and another loot and opened the item collecting tab, the game often crashes while using this option.
You don't have that issue I assume?

the developers removed that option after it was discovered people could cheat this way.. they simply greyed it out in the piles in the house you scavenge from.
the instructions are accurate for the way the game was able to be played before the developers made it impossible to drop items back into the piles from your inventory.
my suggestion is to turn the option on and collect something that has 2 or more left. if there is something that only has 1 item, it will multiply into at least 2. if you try to pick up a single item, it will not multiply.
best,
Cal
Thanks for the quick response. I was afraid it was something like that. Would you recommend using the Custom Crafting option to make things like gunpowder or weapon bits that may not be in the piles?
Also does the Resource Multiplier work with the Merchant that shows up now and then, or is it Loot Piles only?
I believe I can answer your first question. Yes you can do that. As a matter of fact I got all my guns, ammo, vests and all that you would want using that option alone. Just a lot of alt+tabbing, that's all!
I did not try the 2nd part, since in 4 days I got only 1 merchant. Though I don't see why you would need it, since you can make huge amount of anything using custom crafting.
Also when you take a lot from him, he also asks for a huge amount of goods of equal value or so in return. So even if you could do that, he would ask in return a lot more for the barter. At least that's how it works in theory. Didn't try it. Give it a go and see if it works.
