Dragon Age III: Inquisition Message Board  

I crash to desktop right after killing the demon and closing the rift. When I return to the game, I'm at the game save of having to kill the demon again. Three times I've tried it.

Has anyone else had this problem, of frequent crashes? I've set up my gameplay to match my computer abilities.

you have to turn off the keys to the trainer before you destroy the rift. These guys here do good with the trainers best they could, but sometime it's best to play the game without the trainer because of the constant crashing of the game.

That or you may have to revert to an earlier save if that save file persist to cause crash. I encountered those crashes, but after loading them, the game will just continue. If you keep crashing in that specific event, place or cut-scene, you may have bug your game. I went through that event you mentioned several times with different characters with trainer activated and it went through fine.

doesn't rely on that event. after it you got also CTDs.
Without Trainer you will not encounter that problem.

So far I've crashed twice. Both times it was because I forgot I had a trainer option turned on while walking around town and talking to people or looting things out of combat. Seems to crash about 2-3 seconds after interacting with items/people if you have an option still on.

According to Cal, he won't add the "trainer off" option so we don't have to keep pressing multiple keys before and after combat.

It is a pain to remember to turn keys off. I'm always having to check them to be sure they are off. I will try turning trainer keys off before the end, turning off the rift.

I also turned down some graphics. My resolution is 1680x1050x60, but there is no resolution in the game for that refresh. I don't know what problem that could cause.
